The Order of Saint Benedict

The Congregations and Federations
of North America

Most of the North American houses of Benedictine men and women are listed below, with their affiliation to the several federations or congregations, and their European origins are noted in capitals. In the main, the congregations tend to represent the same European origin, though there are a few exceptions. The different indentations in the listing are meant to indicate the "generation" or stage of removal of the federation from the European source.
